1. Who we are and what this covers

This Privacy Notice explains how oof.gg, inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Miami, Florida, United States, handles personal information when you use Neonkick, our Twitch extension, and the related game website at play.oof.gg (the “Service”). We are responsible for the information we process for the purposes described here. Contact us at developer@oof.gg for privacy questions or requests. Twitch operates its own platform under its Privacy Notice; this notice covers our Service.

2. Information we collect

  • Twitch and channel information. Twitch provides an extension-specific identifier, channel identifier, role, and authorization information. When you grant identity access or install the extension as a broadcaster, we can receive your Twitch user ID and retrieve your public Twitch login and display name. We use Twitch authorization; we do not ask for your Twitch password.
  • Game and account activity. We process queue entries, matches, opponents, scores, results, rankings, statistics, channel participation and settings, cosmetic unlocks, equipped items, and preferences. Live gameplay includes controls, car movement, and game state.
  • Transactions. If optional Twitch Bits purchases are offered, we receive transaction identifiers, the associated user and channel, and the product purchased to validate purchases and deliver items. Twitch handles Bits purchases and payment details; we do not receive your payment-card number through the extension. Some or all cosmetics may be available free of charge.
  • Technical information. We and our hosting providers process connection and request information, such as IP addresses, browser or device information, request times, errors, and network latency measurements. We measure connection latency to available regions to help place games and diagnose performance. This does not require access to your device’s precise GPS location.
  • Communications. If you email us or send a support or diagnostic report, we receive the information you choose to include and your contact details. Please do not send passwords or payment-card details.
We collect information from you and your browser, Twitch, your interactions with other players and channels, and our game and hosting systems.

3. How and why we use information

We use information to authenticate players; connect them to channels, queues, and games; show gameplay and rankings; save preferences, progress, and cosmetics; validate transactions; operate and secure the Service; investigate misuse and technical issues; answer requests; and meet legal obligations. Network latency helps us choose suitable gameplay regions. We do not use personal information to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing.

Where a law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement with you for requested game features and purchases; our legitimate interests in service operation, security, fair play, support, and reliability, balanced against your rights; compliance with legal obligations; and consent where required. Granting access in Twitch lets Twitch disclose your identity to the extension. You may revoke that access through Twitch. Revocation can limit identity-dependent features and does not itself erase records we already hold.

4. What other people and providers can see

  • Players, viewers, and broadcasters: your Twitch identifier, display name, channel participation, cosmetics, live gameplay, scores, match history, and rankings may be visible through the Service. Broadcasters and viewers may stream or record gameplay through Twitch or their own tools; we cannot erase copies they independently make.
  • Service providers: we use Google Cloud for hosting, databases, network infrastructure, and operational logging. Providers process information needed to supply these services.
  • Twitch: we exchange authorization, public profile, and purchase information with Twitch as needed for extension features. Twitch separately processes activity on its platform under its own policies.
  • Legal and safety purposes: we may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect people and systems.
  • Business changes: information may be transferred in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of relevant assets, subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use advertising trackers in the Service. We do not control Twitch’s own advertising or tracking practices.

5. Browser storage and your choices

We use browser local storage for settings such as camera, controls, audio, and other game preferences, and session storage for connection continuity and session-related information. Pending purchase confirmation identifiers may also be saved so a failed confirmation can be retried. Browser diagnostic captures can include browser, graphics, controller, and input-timing details; downloading a report saves it on your device rather than automatically sending that report to us. These features support the game rather than advertising. You can clear or restrict this storage in your browser, which may reset settings or interrupt reconnection. Twitch may use its own cookies and storage when you use its platform.

You may view without granting identity access where spectator functionality is available. Identity-dependent participation and saved account features require authorization. You can stop using the Service, revoke extension access or remove the extension through Twitch, and contact us to request deletion of information held by us. Clearing browser storage or uninstalling the extension alone does not delete server-side records.

6. Retention and security

We retain account-linked progress, cosmetic entitlements, match history, and related records while needed to provide those features. We retain transaction, security, diagnostic, and support records as reasonably needed for reconciliation, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, resolving disputes, and legal obligations. Queue and session expiration ends their use for active matchmaking; it does not necessarily erase the underlying database record. We assess retention based on the type of information, its purpose, account activity, legal requirements, and requests for deletion, rather than applying one fixed period to every record.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it. Backup copies may remain until their normal expiration and are restricted to recovery and related protection needs. We use safeguards including encrypted connections and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your privacy rights and requests

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access or receive a copy of your information, correct it, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to your local privacy regulator. Where applicable, you may use an authorized agent and appeal a denied request by emailing us with “Privacy appeal” in the subject. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Email developer@oof.gg with your request and the Twitch account or channel concerned. We may ask for reasonable information to verify ownership before acting; do not send your Twitch password. We respond within the time required by applicable law. Some information may be retained where legally permitted or required, and deleting information necessary for an account feature may prevent that feature from working. Requests about information held independently by Twitch must be directed to Twitch.

8. Children

The Service is intended for people eligible to use Twitch and is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. Minors must have permission from a parent or legal guardian as described in our Terms. If you believe a child under the applicable minimum age has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove information as appropriate.

9. Where information is processed

We operate in the United States, and the initial game infrastructure is hosted in the United States. Our providers, including Google Cloud and Twitch, may process information in other countries where they operate. Those countries may have different privacy protections. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we must use an appropriate legal transfer mechanism. You may contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your information.

10. Updates and contact

We will post changes here with an updated date and provide additional notice of material changes where required by law. New purposes or processing that require consent will be subject to that requirement. For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact oof.gg, inc., Miami, Florida, United States at developer@oof.gg.
